Joseph F. Silek, Jr. is the founding principal of Joseph F. Silek, Jr., P.C. and has practiced with that firm and its successor, Lawson and Silek, P.L.C. since its inception in 1995. A native of Front Royal, Mr. Silek represents businesses in both the public and private sectors. His practice focuses on taxation and estate planning, zoning, planning and land use, real estate, and commercial transactions. He has argued and successfully tried cases in federal and state courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    Mr. Silek received his J.D. with honors from Campbell University Law School, where he served as the business editor for the Campbell Law Review and received his B.S. from the University of Richmond. He is currently chairman of Warren Memorial Hospital's Board of Directors, a current board member of Valley Health, a regional health care system, a Trustee of Randolph-Macon Academy, a member of the Front Royal Rotary Club, and a past president and board member of the Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Silek is a past president of the Warren County Bar Association and a member of the Virginia and North Carolina Bar Associations. He is also a member of the taxation, real property and probate sections of the American Bar Association.
